On October 22, the 15th edition of Brussels Museum Night Fever will take place. Among the participants are a number of museums where Sum is or was active.
At Cinematek / Palace of Fine Arts SumProject was active in the field of renovation. The major renovation between 2006 and 2011 aimed to bring back the spirit of Victor Horta and to restore the palace to its original philosophy.
La Maison des Arts: Sum was responsible for a management plan in the creation of a student hub near 'Place de la Reine'. In the management plan a connection with 'La Maison des Arts' was one of the key issues.
Maison du Roi – Brussels City Museum: Sum, in collaboration with Daidalos-Peutz, did research on a new museum depot.
At the Museum of Natural Sciences - Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences SumProject was responsible for the renovation of the Janlet wing, famous for exhibiting the Bernissart Iguanodons,
At Royal Art & History Museum Sum was responsible for a mayor feasibility study for the valorisation and reorganisation of the Museum. One of the key points was to investigate a greater synergie between the museum and the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage.
Train World, Sum was responsible for the restoration of the Schaerbeek train station and the design of the new national railway museum.
